PESA and Cambodia will both do fine on PF cakes. Yeah, you can leave your substrate + verm in the jar and fill it up with water to rehydrate your cakes.

It's up to you, but I would suggest that you do so...the more moisture retention, the bigger the fruits.

Of course.

Just in steralized vermiculite.

DEC if you're up to it.

Yeah, you can mist it until you start seeing pinning.

Just make sure that the vermiculite on your cakes is moist at all times. The light coming through your window will be fine, you don't need to worry about the light cycle if you're using the sun as it does it for you naturally.

Which hole are you referring to? Natural sunlight will work fine.

Lets just say that I'm qualified to answer most of your questions.

You should have two "growing" chambers. One for incubation and one for fruiting.

The incubator is meant to be kept completely dark and at a temperature of 84-86?F. This is where your jars go after inoculation.

Your fruiting chamber should be on a light cycle (some people suggest 12 hours on/12 hours off), should have high humidity (85-100%rH depending on what you're fruiting), a temperature of 74-78?F and good air circulation.

It sounds like your jars are doing just fine. Contaminants can still appear, so keep an eye open for them.
