Hello everyone, new to growing mushrooms- and new to the forums, been a long time reader of the shroomery though.
About 4 weeks ago I got two syringes from ralphsters spores, Amazonian and B+. I am using the brownrice flour and vermiculite method, I sterilised the jars and am satisfied with that. two (maybe 2 1/2) weeks ago I inoculated one jar with B+ (I wanted to make sure I could do a singe jar before I wasted the syringe on 12 jars.)
Since then I have a single clump of very white 'stuff' that takes up about 1/8 the surface area of the surface of the jar. There are two small pockets about an inch below the clump, in those pockets appears to be the same 'stuff'
I am worried because its been 2+ weeks and there has been no growth. It looks healthy, but isnt going anywhere and Im not sure what to do at this stage.

Any chance for you to take any pics ? Well, i'd say it started a bit late, but i believe that's mycelium. Wait one more week and report back.... and btw, if it's white and keeps growing, then it's a good sign.
