nice post, i completely understood what you are saying.

Once you have reached this state of mind, is it possible to regress to the old state of mind by not meditating anymore or something? Is this something that, once you reach it, it stays forever?

after you have progressed from this overly wordy state of mind you might have a fleeting glimpse of all the things you claim to be familiar with.
learn to do more with fewer words

If you find no benefit in my posts, please feel free not to read them.  I'm sure that others find benefit from the descriptions which you deem lengthy.

But i assure you this amount of wording 'is' necessary to accurately convey what I'm intending to communicate, if i use fewer words, there will be a considerably larger margin for error in communication and interpretation. I want people to be clear about what I'm saying, and not formulate wrong views and misunderstandings.

Your post may have been a backhanded insult in some way which eludes me, but please do not attempt to judge my state of mind from over an Internet forum, its quite silly.  :smirk:

Its a little presumptious of you to assume to know how my mind is progressing or indeed how i am at all. You may use few words to communicate but to me your expressions seem extremely unclear and abstract. If you say too little and its unclear, people wont know what you mean. Say too much and only the truly interested will read all you have written. Then there will be fewer ego games at play.

You have no idea whether or not my practice is functioning, the only way for you to truly know, is to test out the methods i have posted, and discover whether or not they function, then and only then will you be in a position to judge.

Do you have anything to say at all about this thread? Did you even read it?

oops, i wasn't finished, i was saying he had a point when he said:

Maybe its just because u have already reached this state of mind that you judge that it could be described with fewer words.
But i must say, some of your posts are quite unclear to me, and mostly they are the ones that you explain things with few words. Could you explain this?

exclusive:

the world was not created and it does not change because we discuss it, at best we can lift a few veils to let the observer see. the words then can be like levers and fulcra.

instead of heaping out a huge clutter of verbage I try to project expressions that help people to stop clutter and see for themselves.

A peek here, a glimpse there. how could I presume to offer more?

before anything is to be done, it needs to be discussed, analyzed, dissected, so that it is clearer what we are dealing with and what needs to be done. wise  and responsible change can come this way. And how would you ever know that the world has not taken a different course than the one it would have taken had we not discussed you and i today?

Quote:

the observer can see better if the veils open themselves up to him in a clearer manner, and the best way to be clear IMO is to define what we mean the best we possibly can, and this may take more words than ordinarily

Quote:

.

but you can't make people see things for themselves if its not clear what they are supposed to be looking at. this "clutter of verbage" can sometimes bring a clearer shape of the idea you are trying to communicate with better defined edges.

by developping! its clear that you have much to offer here, so why not? personally you're one of my favorite shroomerites, i find you very interesting and intriguing at the same time. its just that sometimes i don't understand what you're saying, and i think its too bad.
i hope i didn't write too many words and that you were able to read the reply entirely, i know sometimes you like to pick out a few words to read out of a whole post, and give out replies concerning only these few words you read.

the hardest thing for me to learn was to dance, and I am still a student trying not to be stiff

if you look really hard at something you will only see your own effort - but if you let go you may catch a glimpse of what was there.

I hope that talking about dancing give you a moment of respite and
strongly suggest that you collect glimpses where possible and form your own dynamic pictures of this changing universe.

or you could try to dissect a few carcasses and I will seem to tease incomprehensibly from an alien dimension.

respite is a great word...

When i am driving on the interstate, and it is raining, as i pass under an overpass, i whisper "respite"
.

To transcend conventionality you must first embrace it in all its length that some may see no need for. I really liked that post Sinbad! See you around, when you come back.
