Ok I know these are for advanced cultivators and I only read posts here for educational purposes! But really though when someone wants to make some ps. cyan spawn can't they use rye to make the spawn and case in maple chips then place the terarrium in a dedicated fridge when the maple is colonized instead of making outdoor beds? Only thing I can see a problem with from what I read is keeping the humidity high enough in such a cold temp. If I'm wrong on this can anyone explain to me what's wrong with doing it this way?

Yes, it has been done in the past. If you have a dedicated fridge with good air conditioning(air exchange and moisture) and a light source, it can be done.
But it?s way too much hassle if you only want to grow some shrooms.
