Contamination or something else? Pics
    #3846652 - 02/28/05 02:29 PM (12 years, 1 month ago)

I was wondering if anyone could identify? Sorry if the pics are crappy. I was thinking of just building a mini milk carton terrium and put this one in it instead of my big terrium. 1st grow and appreciate the help and advice. Thank You and Peace.

Mycelium can bruise while still in the jars. It bruises blue. Mycelial excrement is yellow. Neither are contamination. If it's green (I can't really tell by the pictures), it's most likely Trichocereus spp. and that spells death for your cake.

In the end, my friend, we will all be together again.

it looks a little green to me. as long as you can tell the difference between blue and green you can make the call.

bottom pic shows the bottom, top pic shows the side. I said that is what my eyes see. Pics are the best so he will have to tell us if its blue or green

from what I've read you'll know when you open it up. If it's contam it'll smell pretty bad, not like that fresh mushroom mycelium scent.
