Red is bad. "Lipstick mold" will not produce a decent syringe.

Unfortunately, h202 will only kill nasties that have not germinated. By the time you can see red, its already too strong for the h202 - although a large dose will give it - and your mycelium a good arse kicking! A note here is that i once had a couple of red dots show up in a B+ jar that were quickly overgrown. I cased this jar, and the mushrooms were okay, but i noted a lot more shape shifting than usual (which may not be related)

Good news: i inoculated 4 test tubes half filled with verm/rye flour with 1cc each one. man, 24 hours i noted 1st sing of growth, today they are 50% colonized (72hour), pretty good, i noted 1 little spot of the red (little purple) in just one tube so i assumed a 25% rate of cont. i'll spawn with some fragments of the healthiest tube and propagate my local strain away... thanks to all that helpme

My experience was that i found a couple of red dots, that didnt spread and were overgrown... If it is spreading, then its will probably overgrow the mycelium or cause it to stall
