I have a friend named ronald reagan, and he has a little bottle of honey water, But he doent know when he should make sryinges out of it. It looks very cloudy, you could she a couple small chunks of rizo growth. I will post a few pics i a couples mins.
Ronny also wants to know if the syringe only gets the cloudly water but no part rizo growth in it; will it work?
Ps. keep this on the DL Nancy doesnt know.

So ya I just wanted any advice should i shake it to try and breakup the chunks or let it sit for a few days??
O does it even matter and imaybe i shold inoculate bags with it right now.?

Give it a good shake to break things up a bit (makes the water cloudy) then suck it up into a syringe and innoculate to your hearts content.

Which water:honey ratio did you use? They look way too "honeyer" than mine does. 1 Pint jar of HW ?? Jesus!!!!

I used about 1 part honey to 3 parts water. the jar is only half pint and filled less then half way, It just look full Cuz it is tilted.
also the glass is an amber color so it looks really honeyish.

When preparing agar, you have a sugar concentation of 2%.
Since honey has 80% sugar, you should take 25g honey and 1 liter water.
Now double that, because you don?t want agar to be too nutritious.
So the maximum I?d do to is app. 1 part honey and 20 parts water.

when i prepare honey/water - malt/water innoculates, i use so little honey/malt that the water still looks clear.
Works well - those piccys look like the water is solid or something. Never tried that.

This is an off topic question but, I just found some 1/2 pint jars and they look really REALLY small. HOw tall are your 1/2 pint jars?

Ok so what happens when so much honey is used.?
I just though the more the merrier.
is it more open to contams?
cuz I used it to innocculate a rye bag and some grass seed waterwith it , the 12cc or so that was left was used to make more honey water. And the new hhoney stared to smell a bit so i hit it with 6cc of h2o2 yesterday. well ill see what happens.

At a concentrate of 10% sugar, mycelia is killed.
