I know this should probably be on another forum, but i tried and my browser gets all fucked up. And i thought i could still get a good answer because i think most of us have smoked pot.
How much would an ounce of pot ussually cost? Someone has offered me an ounce for $150. Ill try to explain the weed, he has called it two different things, "afghani cheeba" and "sunkist". It smells like oranges, and it has orange running through it. It has a slight amount of visible crystal. Has anyone ever heard of this strain before? and would it be worth it to buy it? thanks

Afghani Cheeba sounds like its from afghanistan. I don't know how you'd be getting afghan quality herb at 150 an ounce. Over where I live, 150 is the price for shitty mids by the ounce. The heads go for about 240 an ounce, and the extraordinary shit is about 800 p/ ounce.
Are weed prices cheap in your area, that could explain why its 150. Whenever I buy in huge quantities, the dealer will usually smoke me up a small bowl to show me how potent it is. I guess to be certain you could try it, or buy in a smaller amount.

I've never heard of this particular strain, but I've had other Afghani strains... That is just in the naming and where they come from, it has nothing to do with the quality of herb in Afghanistan - you can grow afghooey in your back yard in Bumfuck, Wherever and it's still Afghan 
The problem is, prices for certain quality levels are area dependent, thus potprice comes into play.

what i love about this site is i get a response within like 2 minutes!
thanks for the advice, ill probably try a bowl before i buy all of it, even though i do know this guy, he seems overly eager to sell this to me, yet not his more experienced pot smoking friends. If i like it, ill definitely buy it, i figured it out to be like $6 a gram, and thats MUCH cheaper then buying it for 15 or 20

if its too good to be true its because it usually is, and usually if a dealer is persistently trying to get rid of his whole stash at once is because its crap and he wont make money off it, don't go by name just smoke it and go by that. 150 for an O sounds like mids or stress to me.

damn I wanna try the weed that was worth paying 800/ounce for, had to be dank as hell to pay that amount no matter who you are. most I ever paid was for some 415/ounce super skunk from LB.

Good point. I've smoked afghan about 5 or 6 times, and all times they were real dank. Guess i jumped to conclusions bout afghan always being good quality.

I'm talking about herb thats around 30 percent THC, it comes by every month or so. They only sell in ounces and pounds.

No it doesn't. 30 percent THC in straight herb is very rare.
20 percent is pretty rare.
The most measured EVER, is only a little above 25% (28% at most).
30 percent is actually lower grade hashish!

Did you go to the lab and test it? I too am a bit skeptical about herb that is 30% THC.
