Depends on what you mean by safe. It's a bad setting, you are at a big risk of getting caught, you probably won't be in a great state of mind (set). That said, there are some people who love it. Most don't.
I wouldn't recommend it, but to each his own.

I don't want to tell you what to do or not to, but I can't see how you will have fun at school. There is also the risk of getting caught, your education is very important. You in high school? Again, I don't want to tell you what to do or not to do, but if your living in your parents house you should not grow illegal plants or fungi. Your putting your parents at risk as if you are caught they could possibly loose their home and assets. So don't grow in your parents house without their knowledge. Anyway if you do decide to trip in school, I hope you do have a good time, I just couldn't see myself doing it.

If what you're asking and hoping for is a "yes! yes you can! Im putting a magic spell over you so that your trip is guaranteed to be a great one with no hassles or safety concerns!  " then wake up.
Sorry man. We're talking about altered states of consciousness here. You wanna know whether or not you're gonna "be ok" if you dose on a psychedelic drug at school. Honestly, this is something we can't answer for you. Your chances of having a bad trip or being hassled by student assholes is pretty fair. In my past I personally tripped at high school 15 or 20 times. However, I've recently been told or had suggested to me that my experiences may have been of the exception rather than the norm.

So many factors really determine whether it'd be "safe" and before I get to those factors I have to mention that you may possibly lower your grade average or gain a bad reputation with teachers.
First of all, it depends on how comfortable you are tripping. If you are one of those people who get stoned off their ass and can't control yourself, dont do it. Theres a great risk there.
How strict/observing are your teachers? If you think they will be oblivious, thats definitely a plus here.
Have you ever freaked out during a trip? If you ever have, I think you should automatically discard school as a location trip.
Do you have anything significant to do that day? One bad thing would be to forget about an assesment and then take it tripping. Make sure its an easy day with no risks involved.

Yes, I am in High School. My mom is ok with me growing. It is a small time thing, and she is ok with it.

Good thinking. While tripping can make school much more tolerable, you would enjoy yourself so much more in a free environment; one where you can speak when you want to and dont have to ask to take a piss.

Touchy subject. There is some possibility of it being fun, or at least interesting. It is though, very irresponsible. I would never try such a thing. You'd be in a very small and in closed environment, you couldn't change your setting even if you wanted to. There would be loads of people around you all day, and the noise of a busy high school would be horrible. You'd be in for a very bad trip filled to the brim with paranoia and anxiety.

What would you say to someone who claims everything you aquire from shrooming, OBE, meditation, near death experience was all just fake shit within your own mind? He claims OBE's and all that are just within your own mind, and have no connection to ANYTHING more than that.

I never tripped at school but my friend did once. I was going to but now I am glad I didn't. According to him he never would do it again. In the middle of class he asked me why everyone was staring at him. No one was even looking at him, he kept doing things. He started freaking out at lunch. I skipped school to bring him home. I wouldn't but some people I know have said they loved it.

I just had a friend tell me hes seen people on acid gouge there eyes out, like, to the back of theyre sockets. Hes seen a guy scratch his skin all the way off, because there was ants on it.
I don't think I like acid.
He can't put the difference between acid and shrooms. Even though I see a difference between chemicals and dirt.

I would say that some things just recquire you going with the flow. Don't ask too many questions, submit, learn, and move on.
I would also ask the person if he/she has ever experienced an OBE or actually meditated to an enlightened state.

hmmmmmmmm........... i would call your friend a liar. or either he hangs out with mentally disturbed people. lets look at the odds for a sec. out of all the people on here maybe one person has seen something "fucked up" on any psychedelic. now he had 2 experiences of fucked up shit. the odds are nearly impossible. he might have tripped that he saw these things but still unlikely. all in all i would call bullshit on that one and be weary of what my friend says.

For a couple reasons:
1. For legal reasons, yes mushrooms are illegal in many countries, but the last thing we need are angry parents who found a spore syringe or something of the like.
2. Minors tend to be more irresponsible, they do things like trip at school.
3. Drug-related message boards that allow minors to post are always flooded with posts such as these. The shroomery has a fairly high level of average intelligence and maturity. As it is an adult community, which has a fair amount of people who i would call intellectual.
Why did you say how old you where? I don't understand, you did know about the age limit? A post like this seems to pop up every week, don't people learn?

Psychedelics are a key, a catalyst if you will. I do feel a spiritual connection of a kind when I'm on mushrooms. During the afterglow, I feel so at ease. There is just a feeling of tranquility, it's really beautiful.

I steralized some jars in water, and took them out of the heat at 7:30. They've been sitting on a rack and feel cool to the touch. Are they cool enough yet?

That's the idea I used to try and explain to him. He said he's not calm enough to experience an OBE. I offered him some "help".
He, like most people, just don't see the reality in it.

i fell you gdman. one of the things i like most about mushies is the comedown. your mind is open you can talk about things that mean so much to you but you have ignored unknowingly. another good feeling is after a high dose you can feel your self stepping down level to level. but most of all i like the pretty colors, jk.

If he doesn't beleive in the spiritual aspect of life so be it. There is no way he will meditate himself into a OBE if he wont let go. My advice to you would be to leave him be, I and everyone I know who feels the connection between spirit and life itself found it themself

Wow, this thread has become long.
My first interest came from when I tried to astral project one night.
I was in my bed, breathed, focused, and heard this overwhelmingly loud noise, a rushing in my ears. I felt a lifting, and the sensation of movement was too much to ignore, and I lose it.
To this day I still try to experience that again.

I practice astral projection too. I've done it around 4 or 5 times.
I lie down, turn the lights off and relax my body to a point where I am ME. I work on putting myself in a state where I don't know who I am, where I am, what I am, and am totally unaware of my physical body. I feel myself pushout of my body and transcend to the higher plains of existance and it all goes from there

The second time id ever tripped on mushrooms was at school, No one noticed although i was sure they would, when the peak started, i couldnt understand anything anyone was saying to me, it got pretty scary for about 45 minutes, i couldnt understand anything and i was in front row in class, if the teacher would ahve called on me i would have been fucked, after i calmed down it was fun, i watched the walls breathe and the carpet swirl around, if u can control yourself its definetly fun,

hey barnd new does your friend still use drugs afte the eyes and skin? if i ever experinced something like that while on drugs i think i would be forever changed. or he could just be using that as an excusse to "just say no". ive heard of the astral projection thing, i say work on it more read up could be better than any high you could experience.

let me try to paint the scenario. you have a friend that has never done a drug. supposedly saw crazy shit caused by drugs. and jumps head on into a hard drug. yep a liar. i bet his speed was yellow jackets from the local gas station, and i mean the yellow jackets after the ephedra was banned. i dont even know this guy and i wouldnt trust him as far as i could blow a boulder on my worst day of gas.

hmmmm now that i think of it i never answered the original title of this post. never went to school tripping but i went to highschool drunck off of moonshine and gin and it sucked ass, went to a college class stoned and it sucked ass. so out of my 2 experiences i would never consider tripping in a class of anykind.

Never tripped at school either. In all fairness I get somewhat bummed out and pissed off when im tripping and cant find good music to listen to. I imagine school would be a tour of hell in 6 hours

the rough times was while i was in korea for a year. but in the end it made us realize we needed eachother. very rough but we pulled through stronger than we started.
so now we have school, weed, shrooms, cultivation, sex, music, marriage. it just keeps going and going. i bet i can guess whats next

i personally wouldnt want to, but maybe you would. lets consider some things:
-do you like tripping around sober people? (classmates)
-do you like tripping around police or parents? (teachers/officials)
-do you like being restricted to certain INDOOR areas when tripping? (classrooms, hallways, etc.)
if you answered yes to all these then go for it, because you will most likely enjoy it. but i doubt you would. what you could do, if you are really interested in tripping in a school setting, is take a very low dose (1.5 grams cubsensis), and see what you think, and if shit starts to get uncomfortable, leave immediately and never even THINK about fungus at school again. but if you find it enjoyable, do it again! be safe my friend

i don't think i would want to take shrooms at school cuz my classes seem long enough as they are, and taking shrooms would make them take FOREVER!
but id say a low dose to just get you feelin really stoned would be a good way to test it.

In general I could just think of way better ways to spend my time tripping...I mean, people do it, but - school sucks compared to so much of the world outside it? Waste of a trip IMO.

College...well that has potential. Campus's are awesome to explore late at night all gurp'ed out on drugs. If you're not worried about the campus police, then it's alllll gravy.
