i fell you gdman. one of the things i like most about mushies is the comedown. your mind is open you can talk about things that mean so much to you but you have ignored unknowingly. another good feeling is after a high dose you can feel your self stepping down level to level. but most of all i like the pretty colors, jk.

If he doesn't beleive in the spiritual aspect of life so be it. There is no way he will meditate himself into a OBE if he wont let go. My advice to you would be to leave him be, I and everyone I know who feels the connection between spirit and life itself found it themself

Your friend is lying, plain and simple, I'm sorry to say. I have no idea why he's telling you this. I cannot imagine someone doing that to themselves. People say the craziest things about drugs, doubt he's ever even seen acid.

Wow, this thread has become long.
My first interest came from when I tried to astral project one night.
I was in my bed, breathed, focused, and heard this overwhelmingly loud noise, a rushing in my ears. I felt a lifting, and the sensation of movement was too much to ignore, and I lose it.
To this day I still try to experience that again.

I practice astral projection too. I've done it around 4 or 5 times.
I lie down, turn the lights off and relax my body to a point where I am ME. I work on putting myself in a state where I don't know who I am, where I am, what I am, and am totally unaware of my physical body. I feel myself pushout of my body and transcend to the higher plains of existance and it all goes from there

The second time id ever tripped on mushrooms was at school, No one noticed although i was sure they would, when the peak started, i couldnt understand anything anyone was saying to me, it got pretty scary for about 45 minutes, i couldnt understand anything and i was in front row in class, if the teacher would ahve called on me i would have been fucked, after i calmed down it was fun, i watched the walls breathe and the carpet swirl around, if u can control yourself its definetly fun,

hey barnd new does your friend still use drugs afte the eyes and skin? if i ever experinced something like that while on drugs i think i would be forever changed. or he could just be using that as an excusse to "just say no". ive heard of the astral projection thing, i say work on it more read up could be better than any high you could experience.

He has never used anything other than speed, and he hated that.

let me try to paint the scenario. you have a friend that has never done a drug. supposedly saw crazy shit caused by drugs. and jumps head on into a hard drug. yep a liar. i bet his speed was yellow jackets from the local gas station, and i mean the yellow jackets after the ephedra was banned. i dont even know this guy and i wouldnt trust him as far as i could blow a boulder on my worst day of gas.
