Hey Psilocybe Cubensis, I saw the pics of you MG plants. Awesome, they look beautiful.
I had a hell of a surprise today, and I'm going to try and get some good pics of it with my digital camera to post here.
A few months ago my mother found a pack of MG seeds and planted all of them, except for one seed, which I planted in a Coke can full of soil. None of the seeds she planted grew (even though we sprouted them in wet paper towel), but the one in my Coke plant blossomed.
We transferred the plant outside to near our deck to grow it over the lattice for some privacy. I hadn't seen it in a while, except for today when my mom told me to take a look at it. The fucking this is over six feet tall! It only has one flower, but it's heart shaped leaves are larger than my hands fully stretched out. It's beautiful.
Now I don't see any seed pods on it yet but my mom thinks that they'll come later in the fall before it dies. I guess I'm going to try tripping off them, just for the novelty of having my own, home grown, lysergamides.
Anyway, anyone have any idea how many seeds I might get from one large MG plant? how/when to harvest the seeds? (I'm going to check Erowid and the Lycaeum too, but I was so exicited that I had to post this and I want a few tips from any experienced growers out there).
Anyway, hopefully I'll have some nice pics to come.

Number of seeds all depends on when your first frost comes. If you have an early frost (say end of september early october) then you can expect about 50-75 seeds per vine, If it produces alot of flowers. If you have a normal later frost that comes around the end of october then you can probably get close to 200 seeds from one good flowering vine.

They're beautiful though, eh? I couldn't believe this hug vine crawling all over my deck. This big, entheogenic vine.
Hey, PC, once you get a gas chromatographer set up lets see who's seeds have more alkaloids ;-)

I planted 5 of these next to my fence (Heavenly Blue var.). Sweet Jesus. I stupidly wound the plant within itself and now there's a MASS of MG vine on my fence with flowers and shoots coming up every which way. Nice plants.
