Heating Pad

I read on this website that a heating pad under a shoe box size Tupperware provides sufficient heat for mushrooms. Has anyone tried a heating pad on a 50-60 gallon Tupperware bin?

I guess it would work, but I've heard that placing significant weight on a heat blanket is a fire hazard... can someone back this up?

Not smart, heating pads are not very accurate. + are a unsafe to keep on 24/7, FIRE!! Try using the Tub on Tub for a terrarium, works great!

my setup from the floor up... fireproof wall board, heating pad, tub with water,
tub for incubation. it's worked great for several years, but put it on a timer
so that it kicks off at least every other hour and calibrating it takes a little
patience, start on the lowest setting and move up
