Day five and I have condensation inside all my jars....
Is this bad?? ALso day five and I have NO mycelium that I can see..

DAMN now some have green stuff.... First it was white all around the yellow-ish areas where I innoculated and now there's greEEN..
Where should I be keeping my jars?? Should they have anything over top of them?? I'm keeping them in a couple shoe boxes in my closet w/ a little heater to keep them warm. Inside the boxes there is nothing over top of them...

Get them out of yer grow area an dump im where they can't contam yer stuff ,sound's like the green mold settin in if usin brf. an verm i use the ramsey seal method on the jars don't usually cover the jars with ne thing but the lid if thats what you mean?have since switched to a 10 gal. aquarium witha rep. heater in itcovered with aplexi glass lid with a temp gauge on the inside usually at 80 82 dgrees use a oven tech to lower con tams when innoc. jars if low on funds for a flow hood er use a glove box hope this helps sum.Mew

small amount of condensation around day five is okay, green stuff is allways bad. separate contaminated jars from entire growing area. best to wash them outside with bleach

You should have tinfoil or tape covering the 4 holes on the lid. Keep them in a clean place. Don't let the temperature get too high, or else many contam's will probably show up. Separate the green jars, then if the green grows more, bury these cakes in your backyard and wash the jars out with bleach.
And Mew, please uses PERIODS.

My advice is NOT to put tape over the innoculation holes, as your mycelium will not be able to breath and will stall 90% of the time. Go down to the chemist and buy some alcohol swabs - tape these over your holes and they will act as a good filter for air exchange!
