Yesterday my cat told me that he ingested about 4 grams dried and a about 15 fresh by finely cutting them up and mixing with Yogurt. Supposedly it was very tasty and easy to swallow. My cats girlfriend also enjoyed the same recipe. They mixed the dried and fresh shrooms with Stawberry and Peach single-serving yogurts.

Luckly I can tolerate the taste of shrooms but that would be great advice for somebody that can't. Indeed, your cat is one smart mofo. Give him some catnip.

My cat doesn't mind the taste so much, its the the way fresh ones feel in his mouth. With the yogurt, you just swallow it all without it touching your mouth really. =)

Here's a few simple ways to bypass the gross process of eating dried mushrooms..

1./ Grind them up into a powder and get some gelatin capsules.. 00 gauge.. they fit roughly around 1.5 grams packed mushroom material..

2./ Get some chocolate and melt it.. again grind up the shrooms to a semi fine grind.... then soak the mushrooms in just enough vanilla extract.. you can dilute the vanilla with water a little.. soak for around 20 minutes.. then drain the material and add it to the melted chocolate.. add whatever else you want too.. oats.. butterscoth... whatever.. then mix it all around and pour into moulds or whatever and freeze.

3./ Grind The shrooms very fine... then mix into a glass of orange juice / lemonade or what not.. give it a good stir and chug chug chug.. noseplugs optional..

Don't want to nitpick, but have you ever got 1.5 g mushroom powder into 00? I can get .5 and maybe 1 if it is ground very fine, but there is no way I could get 1.5 into one.
