Psilocin is a serotonin receptor antagonist or partial agonist. It doesn't produce serotonin. Serotonin levels go down when you put psilocin in your brain.

yeah, of course it doesn't produce seratonin. if it did, people would have extreme depression if you are a frequent tripper, just like frequent E tards

Oh well, I'm certainly no biochemist.

That was sloppy thinking/writing. What I mean to say is that psilocin is thought to act in a similar way to serotonin and thought to inhibit the re-uptake of serotonin (thus resulting a stronger effect from the serotonin we have naturally).

Anyway, wou know what I mean about the euphoria ! :-)
