*Amazing* trip music

If you want to groove in a low key smooth trip, or need to chill cuz you're startin to bug out and shit, seriously try Jack Johnson. All this guy's stuff is just right for this mode..

...in my opinion

Life's too short, man.. Life's too short. Dont hate me, and I wont put space between us. Dont lie to me, and I wont dislike you. Keep an open mind, and I'll love you.

My advice of the week(do this, you'll like it): listen to Mahogany Rush.

Representing Beatiful British Columbian classic dank. Just think, Columbia for coke, British Columbia for buds. truth

Eh.. Jack Johnson has a couple of songs that aren't too pussy-ish for me. Same with his butt buddy Ben Harper. They make mostly chick music, IMO. But that one song "Burn one down" is pretty awesome.

I suggest you check out The Shins, - Try "New Slang" "Young Pilgrims" "Kissing the lipless"
The Doors, - You should know who the doors are...

And maybe Jets to Brazil... Sample their song "Sweet Avenue" and "You're having the time of my life"

Btw, who is Frank Marino and why did he come up when I searched for Mahogany rush?

I like JJ lots! Saw him at Bonnaroo in 2003 and he was very good. Later I found out that he is a world class surfer and also a movie producer/writer (not sure on this one, I heard this on the radio awhile back). Good music to get stoned and lay back.

I dunno man.. most of his songs just seems so girly to me.

I'm not dissing him..
I might have, but that doesn't make him any less of a good musician. Its just my opinion. As a musician and song writer he's on top of the game, but he doesn't make too much music that I enjoy as a heterosexual male.

Dont get me wrong, Jack Johnson does have some good songs I can chill to. He's a good musician too. Its just that a lot of his songs are girly...

Male and female are both a part of this world. Both hold equal signifigance.

And, oh yeah, Jack Johnson is good stuff. Anything mellow is great for tripping. Even old country songs, "Home on the Range" is amazing, as well as "Where the Buffalo Roam."

one of my favorite trip songs is from a singer called (Robi Kahakalau) its called "DREAMLAND"....Download it! .... Probably heard or one of its versions if you like Raggae. Bob Marley and Third World both have a version, but i prefer Robi's version. It has more of an island sound to it and she throws in sound effects with her music....makes you feel like you are right there at the waterfall in a tropical forest. Its mellow, my cousin who likes trance liked it, his friend who likes rap liked it and I (who likes Raggae)liked it....Try It Out!

Almost everything I listen to sounds good when I'm tripping. And stuff I hate sometimes sounds good when I'm tripping. When I sober up I still like it. That's why listening to bad music is dangerous. I might hear Justin Timberlake one day and get caught appreciating his music.
