alternative to canning jars

Hi everyone
This is my first post
I purchased a ready made grow kit while I was in London a while ago. Now I'm home (Tasmania, Australia) I've set it up and I've got mushrooms growing (Yay). I'm keen to take spore prints and have a go at growing some more using the PF Tek method. However I'm having a lot of trouble locating the wide mouth canning jars it recommends. I've been to a lot of homeware shops, hardware shops etc and I can't find any.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to an alternative?
All help is greatly appreciated.

I've noticed a great deal of Australians have trouble finding the jars, i am Australian too, and had the same problem. I ended up using a similar jar, but it has a bit of a shoulder on it, not too hard to get the cakes out though.

I used to know a good hand from down under & he used some sort of glass wide mouth type vegemite, condiment, jam, jelly, preserve jars. Had to buy them full & eat the content. But, they worked - Ace.
He used H/poo as a sub & grew some honkering big fruits.
