Where can I find information about 'Salvia Officinalis', please?

Greetings,

I've been growing this plant for about 3 months, but I do not know much about it except what I have experienced from observing it. I would like to learn more from other's experiences, for I plan to give a speech about the plant for my College speech class in a month. I would mostly like to know of it's medical properties and uses, of it's defensive properties against bugs or pests, and of its average life span. Could anyone please guide me to a great source or perhaps post some information that they know of to share with me and others?

i remember seing a large herb database from an old lady there... it covered many medicinal/tea/spice plants...

Salvia officinalis is the spice sage which is in everybody's spice cabinet. For starters I would consult cookbooks.
