HI, I I have an odd shaped jar and the cake wont come out.Can I break up the cake and put it in a bag or will it just get contaminated?

you could either break the glass jar or the cake. if it is fully colonized it will have an immune system if you will and won't be as suceptible to contam. you could probably crumble it up and stick it in a ziploc bag for a couple days to let the mycellium recover. then you could case it with some others or something. the other option is to just take a nail and hammer and crack the jar off.
