Different Fruiting Speeds

Hi all,

In a dream:

I did two casings simultaneously using the same rye grain substrate. In a small casing of thai cubies I had only one fruit. In a large casing there were numerous fruits. The fruit came out at the same time, but the single fruit in the small casing is growing much quicker than the many little fruits in the big casing. I was wondering if this is normal. Both of them were grown under the same conditions (humidity, temp, light).

Things like this happen. Maybe the casing is concentrating on that one mushroom, therefore it is growing much quicker than the casing that has to concentrate on a lot of growing mushrooms.
