 what happened to some people that posted here and no longer do?

i ask because im bored and went looking through old post of users and i ran into some great posts that gave me alot of insight.....alot of people who aren't active posting anymore had great things to say.? one who stuck out was StrangeDays...where'd he go? where'd the rest go and why?
it's like the senior class is gone now, and i'm just a freshman...so did they graduate or what?!! if so are the old timers who are still here..the ones who got held back?

For whatever individual reason, each of them chose to move on. Does more than that really need ot be said? People have their reasons... are you hoping for someone to compile a list of reasons why various people left or something? Seems completely pointless.
Heck, the only people who can answer your question are the ones who left...

oh yes please that was exactly what i was going for great job jacques! 
what i was going for was why/what makes someone become soo involved in "the shroomery" to still be posting daily after years and years?!? aside fromnot having any social life and the fear to interact with people in person...?
anyway, im done with that...i just wish that some of the "old timers" that left were still around to help guide the way to...?

no seniors in here. no classes either. some people move on, some people stay.
its the flow, one thing goes away, another replaces.
newer doesn't mean better or worse.
and who knows why people do the things they do hehe

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

The tide turned sometime last year.
A deleted member went on a powertrip and S&P was polarized like a mofo.
Things are calming down now, but much of the divisive lingo and attitude still lingers. This lingo and attitude isn't suppressed much by the mods (only overt actions or perceived overt actions are dealt with), so it's likely to keep lingering. Futhermore, S&P has developed an attention problem... these days, few threads go the distance without derailing in an OTD-like fashion.

Some of us have graduated and decided to go for a Masters or Doctorate in S&P.

Lots of old members here. They seem to come and go...shroomery is a weird place. Wait a couple months and you will be flooded with them again. People come, people go, but most atleast check back.
