This may be my third hunt...same location (where I saw giant cow terds)...it FINALLY rained in Northeast Florida and it was actually in the 70's today...I wanted to reiterate a question to make sure I'm getting this right...mushrooms grow within 24 hours of a rain correct? Because it rained two days ago as well and I'm thinking that I may find something worth finding tonight...think it's worth it?
3. Do not ask if the current weather is "good for shrooms." These threads are flat out annoying, and will be locked. This information can easily be found with a little bit of research. As a general rule of thumb, if it has rained within the last 2-3 days, and the temperatures are correct for the type of mushroom you're looking for, then *yes* it is possible that the mushroom you are looking for is growing.
