a poetic musing

?The pale moon, casting a silken veil of soft light over the earth. It crawls and penetrates over the ground, illuminating the shadowed landscape.
Trees towering over me, the ground litter crawling. Life pulsates and breathes. I feel the vines growing around me, as my mind casts its own roots deep into the earth. I feel the timeless beauty of this place, my spirit dancing under my roots, absorbing the infinite knowledge with the spirits who have existed for time eternal. The wolves peer through the foliage, and I speak to them. We speak of nights under the stars, and the peace of freedom. The crows fly overhead, inquiring to the wolves of my interjection in the forest. We laugh about nothing, and continue on our paths, each disappearing into the misty horizon. Wandering aimlessly, I chuckle with the wolf and crow as we travel on through life?My tool clang at my sides, my leather clothes draped over me. My feet sink and rise against Gaia?s flesh, moving silently through the woods. The wolves canter over her, leaving no trace of existence. And, as the crows glide through the air, they plan the rising of tomorrow?s sun.?

Is that a discription of a trip or some creative writing you did? What ever the case they mean the same thing. See if you can get the animals to talk to you, pretend a little. Did you pick those animals because they had archetypal meaning or did they pick you? What ever the case they mean the same thing. Let them talk to you, and listen. Maybe write it down and follow it up it this thread, so you can't fake it or avoid it. Maybe we'll all learn something. Oh, and if you don't follow it up, the animals are laughing at you, not with you.
