casing with a 10 gallon rubbermaid bucket

i was wondering... if i had 36 jars of fully colonized cakes.... would i be able to do a casing tek at the bottom of a rubbermaid bucket??? if i can how would i do that?? and would my yeild be much larger than that of a normal casing?

Of course you could do it. You would treat it like a regular casing tray, except working with much larger dimensions. Consisting of: bottom layer, (optional), substrate layer, and then top casing layer.

If you really do have 36 jars and are planning to do this, I'd advise against it. You're much better to segment the grow into several containers if they are available. All it takes is one run of trich or cobweb mold in that rubbermaid, and you are out the 36 jars.

do you mean casing 36 jars individually and fruiting them in jars Vs. using the rubbermaid as a tray to hold the substrate and casing that???

No he means make many different casings with your jars. Not just one. If get a contam and you have all your jars in one casing your screwed.

The old saying "Don't keep all your eggs in one basket!"
