metalcore pedal?

Anyone know a good distortion pedal around 50$ or so thats good for metalcore?

"Metalcore", eh? Are there any sounds from particular songs you're trying to replicate?

Borrow someone's multi-effects pedal (my friend has a Digitech RP 300), or try it out at a store, and mess around with the many different sounds. Then pick one you like, and get an individual pedal for it.

Try the Digitech Death Metal Pedal. I noticed it supplies good varities of crunch and great fuzz tones. You can do alot of tweaking......ALOT!
