Music a universal language

So I was thinking the other day about Trance mainly, and about how most of it was no lyrics, therefore anyone could listen to it and enjoy it and take only the meaning that they wanted out of it. There would be no language barrier, no exclusion of anyone, just inclusion, music for everyone. You could sit in a room full of people that spoke all different languages or didn't speak at all and have something in common. This isn't just with Trance, it would be any non-lyrical music. I think thats a neat idea.

I agree. That's why I collect live concerts. Usually bands will play an extended version of a song that trails off with no lyrics.

Yeah I think that's the best part about trance, and every other non-lyrical music. Whenever I go to a rave or a club, there's people from all walks of life there, and I just think that's awesome for so many different types of people coming together to have fun for the same reason.

also, when there's no lyrics to a song, it has no definite meaning behind it and everyone feels something different about the emotion and meaning behind it. That's cool too.
