Am I Healthy?

i am not so sure about my overall health and am just seeking suggestions on what i should begin doing about it. i am 5'7, weigh 112 lbs., very bony, not much muscle, used to do a lot of excersise from basketball, but not much anymore. i run about once a week when i play a 45 min basketball game, eat 2 bowls of cereal every morning basically, have either no lunch or just a pizza almost everyday, have a granola bar towards the evening, eat usually either steak, chicken, tacos, fish, etc. for dinner along with some type of grains, and then sometimes have an ice cream at night. i usually have this routine throughout the weekdays and on the weekends its iether hardly any food and some chips or some shit from 7-11 or just fast food. i have weighed 110-115 lbs. for a while and have been wanting to gain weight atleast up to 130 lbs. my blood pressure is pretty much normal and i don't get sick or anything very often. i smoke weed about 3-5 days a week, eat mushrooms once a month usually, and do some cocaine or meth once in a while. i don't feel i am very healthy though. what are some things i should do to build the discipline of getting on a strict diet in order to gain more weight and what excersises would alos help with this? i would like to gain some muscle, but also gain fat. or should i gain weight first? and then worry about the muscle? any tips would be appreciated. sorry for the long post.

You should consider food changes. Dietary changes.
No more fast food. No more cheese and meat unless its infrequently eaten.
You must eat plenty of vegetables!! And fruits! Drink water - not soda. Drink good water too, not tap.
Excercise twice a day until you feel progress has been reached in each and every day. Grow stronger a bit each day.
Consistency, not luck, pays.

in some places, like where I live, the tap water is perfectly clean and bottled water isn't healthier

Your diet is horrible. One of the worst I've read.
Cereal is absolute garbage. Beyond garbage.
Grains and ice cream in the evening?
Yikes.
Couple simple rules...
1.) eat every 6 hours 2.) eat fruit or vegetables with every meal 3.) no sugar- its the devil 4.) reduce bread/grains... as much as you can. the less the better. 5.) contrary to enters advice...EAT MEAT.

I think my love for tap water has been responsible (partly) for me never getting a cavity.
They don't fluorinate spring water.
Best Cup of Water Ever - Fill glass with ice cubes, put on tap to cold, let run for 10 seconds, fill glass.

Suit yourself. But just know that fluoridation is an attempt to rob your body of its precious bodily fluids.

Mushiemountain, some quick things that I think would help your diet: -Cut fast food COMPLETELY out of your diet. If you must have it then make it extremely occasional... like twice a year maybe. -What cereal are you eating? If it's Lucky Charms or other sugary cereals, then I'd suggest switching to something like Raisin Bran or Kellogg's fruit harvest; -Your weekend diet sounds pretty awful. Eat more whole grain carbs and protein like chicken. Eat more fruits and vegetables all week. -Triple your weekly cardio exercise. -Your drug usage doesn't sound like it causes any problems, but personally I'd cut the marijuana usage down to 1-2 times a week.

What's so "garbage" about cereal? I eat usually atleast one bowl of cereal a day, and I'm not talking about the sugary kinds like Capn Crunch and Alphabets. I usually eat Special K, Total, Fruit Harvest, Fruit N Bran, et cetera.

I've also never had a cavity and I drink tap water. I'm the only one in my bloodline without any cavities.

Wow, worse diet ever indeed,
you gotta transform your eating habits soon dude, otherwise you won't stay healthy for long..
Start to cook your own food, don't trust anyone for stuff you put in your body (drugs ,food, water) they just want your money and don't give a fck about your health.
Eat fruit, vegetables and generally alive plant material
Avoid cooked meals, eat nutritional supplements (made from organic sources) and my advice would be to never eat meat. It contains sooo many toxins that feed cancer cells, that its plain stupidity. Not to mention about the meat other people sell to you.Its the worse darn shit you could ever find.
There are many alternative foods you will find out if you start your transformation. I found out alot more alternatives after becoming a vegetarian. Health food stores are your source for biological, non laced vegetables
Never eat sugar, and salt. These white powder are yur worst enemies.
Always eat seeds (sunflower, cacious, almonds etc) they are VALUABLE.
Also drink lots of herb-teas.(mint,chamomile,green tea)
Purify your body, sweat ,detoxify, exercise, dance, meditate
EDIT: That cocain-meth thingy doesn't sound very cool either. Go organic~ !!!

Chances are, if you have to ask if you're healthy: You're not.
Goto the bookstore, and check out the Health and/or Fitness section.

Check out a book called "Eat Right for your type" by Dr sumone? Basically , it gives you indepth information about everything you should and shouldnt eat, according to your blood type, giveing you actual advice to wether You should eat breads or meats or vegies, and what ones are best for you. You can take everyone elses advice, but thats whats worked for them, everyone is different. And regarding building the muscle, go talk to sumone at ur local health food shop about starting a protein/whey drink to help your body process the change.

thurs.: morning - bowl of cereal (capn crunch), banana nut muffin, granola bar afternoon - chicken tenders from fast food, bologna sandiwch w/ mustard evening - beef or pork roast, asparagus, rocky road ice cream

You need to eat more real fruit and veg, you seem to be eating mainly sugar (look at the ingredients of your cereal, muffins and ice cream!) How about instead of the muffin, have a couple of real bananas? Instead of ceral, why not buy some simple sugar free muesli, and add your own fruits like raisens and dates? Fruits contain more complex sugar forms and will give you more energy without causing big spikes in your insulin levels compared to processed sugar and glucose syrup. Well done on eating asparagus, but try to include 2 vegetables with each evening meal.

Definately change the Capn Crunch to something like Raisin Bran or Cheerios. Maybe eat Capn Crunch once or twice a week if you must. Like the one above me said- eat a banana or other fruit with your breakfast.
Your lunch sandwich sounds like it could use some lettuce or pickels or something somewhat healthy. The chicken tenders and fast food sound like they could add a few grams of trans fat to your diet. Try eating skinless chicken that you cook yourself; possible with marinara sauce.
Your meat for dinner doens't sound HORRIBLE to me, but I'd definately eat some legumes, green beans, nuts, and/or more vegatables like sweet peas for dinner. Broccoli is really healthy. Eat your ice cream maybe 1-3 times a week instead of everynight would probably benefit you.

ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE! I hope you get really obese and nobody wants to have sex with you. IMHO, you're a dumbass, and the world has enough already. Darwinism.
Keep eating the fast food, icecream and fatty junk foods. They're all good for ya man. Keep it up.
