upping my dose???

ok my normal dose is 2.7g dry, on my b-day I plan on upping that a tad, is 6g too much for me to eat, will it be a sure thing for a bad trip, or will i be able to handle it.

i've eaten between 2.5 and 3.0 about 8 times in the last year

I know people will say it is all about your mindset but my bro ate too much in a good mood and wound up rolling around on the floor trying to get a breath(he was breathing normally)

Maybe go for just 5g? That's a pretty strong dose, you could obtain ego loss if you let it happen. My maximum was 8g, and to tell you the truth I've had more powerful experiences with 5g. Once you get that high its really all the same. I'm sure you'd be fine with the 6g, just stay cool. It would be more of a 'lay down with music on' trip for sure. Good luck, man.

That seems like quite a jump! maybe 3.5-4.0? However, in my limited experience, there's not much difference between 3.5 and 8 gram doses.

In my opinion, anything above 5 grams sends you down the rabbit hole so violently, mindset plays very little part. I have more time to stew and get into negative mind loops on <3 gram range, so it's my opinion that mindset has very little to do with the outcome of a heavier trip.

Go for it, there's nothing like the 4-6g experience.

alright my massive mutant dried to 5.5 cracker dry, I think I'll chop off the stump and save that for the trip, would this one massive shroom be the same trip as many smaller ones

If you're taking 5grams and up... then the shrooms must not be potent. With good shrooms, fuck... 4+ grams is too much hah.

Unless of course you just want to dissolve into an unknown entity babbling incoherent words.

I would go 4-5 as said. I really liked 5 grams, also you could try re-dosing to extend your peak if you have the mushrooms.

Dont jump too much from dose to dose. That might cause problems during your trip. If you wanna just have a good time add .5-1 more gram to your dose and smoke pot during your peak. Or just smoke during your peak without upping the doses. It should enhance things or maybe you should make a tea. Everyone will agree that shroom tea hits faster and harder but shorter. Have fun on your birthday.
