Seeds or cuttings? I know Shaman's Palace carries seeds right now, and they will have cuttings near Spring. Azarius also carries San Pedro seeds.

It will probably take a couple years at least from seed. As for the best seeds, cactus seeds are cactus seeds.

I didn't really get all that. Are you asking if you can replant a 7-8 inch cutting, and will that be enough for one person?

Well, the San Pedro that the sponsors (and all other legit websites) sell, whether is be from seeds or cutting (in the future), is strictly not for consumption. If you were though, no, 7-8 inches would not be enough.
