why trip at a sucky place when you can trip in 1000x cooler places than school? also imagine getting busted...
if you must get high in school smoke some weed

A few years ago when I was about 16-17, I used to do this all the time. I mustve gone to school on acid and amt over 15 times. Nothing bad ever came of it for me, but I've always been a "different" type of person even before using drugs, so Im not sure others would handle this setting the same as I did.
My fondest memories of high-school consist of me being on acid, sitting in my History Of Rock n Roll class listening to Jimi Hendrix while the stone floors and walls took on new life and shapes. Hell I even acted out scenes from Fear and Loathing in my drama class while on acid. And got a perfect grade!
Yes, my high school days were special 
You just have to ask yourself if you'd really feel comfortable taking psychedelics at school. It was something I personally never even had to think twice about. Of course there were always sober friends fucking with me, waving their grubby hands in front of my face, "what about that?! Is that trippin you out?!" Fuckers.
I trust you'll think about this some more and make whatever decision's right for you.

he said he was 16. i suppose the friend he mentioned is the same age. but alas, no proof(other than the fact that they go to school together). and yes, it's a terrible idea(except for math class  ).

Because then we have to let ALL the 16 year olds in, wharfrat. I bet you're under 18, as well, huh? It has to do with accountability and such. The last thing The Shroomery needs is angry parents coming and bitching because their kids got the devil mushrooms because of this site.

jeez, I tripped at school many times...it really doesn't have to be THAT big of a deal! I obviously never took a big dose at school, because that would unquestionably be dumb. I just can't stand it when people are so narrow minded and one-dimensional with their answers..."No! Bad! Bad! Bad! Horrible Idea!"
At least give a few sound reasons for why something is so "bad" or "terrible". I'm absolutely, positively thankful that I dosed at school from time to time. It actually helped me understand alot about the phony pretentiousness that so many high schoolers carry with them. I'm not telling this kid or any other kid to go trip at school, as it's not going to mesh well with every individual's comfort zone.
You guys also have to remember, this kid is 16! You think that's too young to be experimenting with psychedelics? I'm guessing that plenty of you started experimenting around this very age. Also, the world (regarding the law) poses such a minute threat to kids this age. Don't any of you remember what it feels like to be this young, with hardly a care in the world? I do. It was great.
If a kid ingests a small dose and marches off to school (without any drugs on his person) then i don't see much of any reason to be worried. I never even came close to being busted on moderately low doses at school, and even if I had been, the worst thing they'd do is they'd send me home for a day.
I do see the other side of this argument, which is basically "kids taking hallucinogens at school is not a smart idea". This can be true, but Im just saying that it isn't quite as horribly dangerous as all of you are implying. And please, if you're going to tell this kid how dumb or immature his thinking is, at least give a few reasons explaining why.
I really don't wish to be flamed by any of you guys, rather im just stating my opinions and experience.
