So she's puttind the dessicant chamber into the fridge?
She shouldn't have to do that. Just keep adding shrooms to the dessicant chamber, and when some shrooms are cracker-dry, take those out and leave the rest. After a while, you'll have to bake the dessicant in order for it to work good.

Oh yeah, I guess they would rot. To tell the truth, I have no idea what you should do. Keep them in the fridge then, I suppose this would help.

I've never used dessicant before. But you should be able to buy a small fan. Or just put them in the oven, the heat wont kill them.

Heat kills psylocybin! If you are using that cheap stuff-damp be gone, ect: it won't bake
very well in the oven for reuse. Get the good stuff-Drierite.. mycosupply, go ahead and splurge!!

I have used straight desicant drying (i prefer a fan first jsut to speed things up) and have nto ahd a problem with rotting. I tried the fridge i dea thinking about that myself but foudn they never dry completely. You may want 2 chanbers 1 for in the fridge to get them mostly dry then put them in 1 that is not in the fridge for a day or so to dry them the rest of the way. However that should not be needed. I also split the stems down the middle to speed them up a bit.

You CAN put them in the oven without much loss of potency if you're looking for a quick way to dry the shrooms, which will last a few months this way. All you do is turn the oven on to the lowest setting, then wait until it heats up. Turn the oven off, wait 2 minutes, stick the shrooms in until the oven completely cools. They should be dry by then.
