Empire Strikes Back. Just watched it tripping and I thought the lasers were coming out of the screen at me lol and the amazing music made it all that much better. there are many great trip movies but this one stands out.
i would be hesitant about Return of the Jedi. I love the movie, but the sarlaac pit would induce some bad tentacle visions into my trip. since my trip visuals usually go towards tentacles and spikes and thorns everywhere, this wouldn't be a good idea to watch this movie (for me) YMMV

check out my "moniker", not that it's a star wars reference or anything
star wars + trippin' = a really great trip.
anything that bugs ya out, turn down the volume and focus on something else for a cuople minutes, it's bound to change, change is good
there are some great political paralells in star wars which, as a user of drugs, can be pretty inspiring.
a couple obvious ones: Han Solo is a guy who transports spice, there is a certain type of spice called "glitterstim" which when injested causes the user to have a psychic experience in which they experience the emotions and life experiences of the beings around them (hrmph.... sound familiar?).
Another obvious reference in the han solo trilogy is that Han gives one of the Hutt lords a "hookah with built in snack-quarium" (hutts eat reptiles, how nice to have a snack while chillin' at the hookah? )
then there's the whole rebellion thing, and then I'll start gettin' waaaaaaay off topic.
anyways.... good trip movies

there are alot of great movies to watch while tripping, but has anyone ever tried looking at a nonexistant channel and just watch the snow? the sound is really annoying so just mute it, but it makes you see some amazing patterns, it really looks cool. (although its only in black and white... if only it could be in color...)

if you use winamp on your computer to play music, you can get a plugin at the winamp.com site called geiss. it's amazing. never watched it while tripping but it's pretty cool anyways, might be worth a shot.

Has anyone watched Dark City while trippin, it's one of my favorite movies. just wondering if it would be too freaky to watch while trippin. The "Tuning" has to look crazy.

I don't have any problem with it. I don't think the characters are serious enough to be real scary. Or maybe they are not evil enough. It is really cool how the buildings twist and grow.
