does anyone else find that their mushrooms turn a bluish bruising color while drying? what does this mean, does it affect potency?

This is normal. It is the psilocin oxidizing. Yes, potency is being lost, but not a lot.

i used a box fan with the shrooms in a small tupperware container and the only place that bruised on the shrooms was where they were touched

I agree with windex i only notice blueing where they were handled never get blue from fan drying. however i left one out on the counter for about 12 hours when i came back the whole thing was blue. maybe the fan you use is not stong enough to dry the out side befoer it starts to oxidize to much?
I use a samll house fan set on the lowest setting it move about 1 and 1/2 times as much as a computer fan.70 Cubic feet a min to be exact. had to put a screen behind it becuse all the small aborts fly away once partly dried.
