hey, i was wondering if they were any deadly cyan look alikes?
and where are good places to look for them??

YEs there are deadly poisonous look-a-likes of Psilocybe cyanescens. You can go to http://mjshroomer.yage.net/species.html

No, but the stems can turn brown or black when squeezed.

If it doesn't bruise clearly & unmistakeably BLUE, it isnt cyanescens.

its basically the stem colour that really sets other strains apart from ps. cyans - but ofcourse the cap colour and spores too! If im in a hurry i just alwasy look at the stem and if its not white, then it gets chucked straight away
