What is hydrogen peroxide really used for, besides killing bacteria in terrariums. What would your average citizen be using it for?

Its a powerful sex tonic!!!! Just kidding.

Its used to kill bacteria and spores on a cut. I remember the good old days when I'de fall off my bike and my mom would hold me down and pour peroxide on my knees while I screamed bloody murder. Ah, the good old days.

i workd at pool for 3 years.treated many cuts on many kids....peroxide seems to burn to 50 percent of kids.

When tripping and frolicking with unicorns, do NOT,under ANY circumstance, let them persuade you to play the innocent childrens game "leapfrog"

hydrogen peroxide does burn like a bitch! when you pour it on a wound, that is.. never heard of bleaching hair with it either.... try pouring it on a cut someday

I've always used it on cuts and scrapes, it stings a bit, but... it bubbles up and looks like it's doing something which to me is kind of soothing... but my grandmother uses it to brush her teeth. No kidding!

even some toothpastes have it in it.... say the brand "Mentadent" for example.
