Those look more like a type of bracket fungi, one of the species where the fruit body structure is probably too hard to even be considered worth eating, in maturity.

Do the undersides have pores instead of gills? A bit closer view would be helpful, too.

They do look close to Turkey Tails.

Looks like turkey tail to me too.

The green color you see on the fruiting bodies is caused by an epiphytic green alga.

yeah, it's really wet where i took those pictures... and that algae has gotten on my wooden porch recently as well. :frown: kinda slippery when wet, so i pressure washed it off.

there are pores, not gills.

if i get any closer with the camera, it goes out of focus, sorry. at least i have a digital camera now! i was upset when my birthday present didn't have a macro feature... :frown:

I have some fungus like that growing around here that has gills.

I thought that was strange.
