Puerto Rican casing about to pin !!!!!!!

Thanks to everyone in here for all the informative help and advice....I`m passed the cake level and moved on to casings..  I have a Puerto Rican strain cased with worm castings/peat moss/verm and it`s loaded with rhizomorphs.  Now I see tons of little white dots.. are these what they call Hyphal knots?  and will those turn into pins? If they do HallefreakinLuyah!!!!!!!!!!!  :smile:......  Thanks in advance

Yes probably. All casings I have had of EQ's and a recent one with Peurto Riccans, all form those little balls. They'll soon develope into a pin.
Remeber though, depending on how good your substarte is, then a lot of those pins may abort (some probably will anyway).

sorry, this has prolly been asked before, but are PR any harder to grow then the PF? i had a real good experience with the PF, they almost required no maitnence, but i was looking for a more potent strain, and i hear PR are real good. TIA

im doing some PRs now and they are colonising nicely.. Id say they would fruit pretty similarly - if you cant get them to pin, cold shock them
