Saving & restoring my "favorites" after re-installing windows?

you reformatted/reinstalled windows? if so, then no, you cannot restore anything. reformatting erases all such data from your disk.

"Favorites" are all located in a folder appropriately named Favorites. If you reinstalled it's possible Windows installed to a different directory. Do a search for Favorites and see what you find.

Thanx ppl, if i want to save them what do i do? just simply save the favorites on a cd and then drag and drop it where the favorites folder is in the freshly installed windows?

It will be in C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Favorites for internet explorer. the files will be small enough to fit on a floppy so theres no need to use a CD-R.

If youve already wiped out windows, they've been deleted, and the only way to save them is through a complicated undelete process which is way beyond your scope, and youre better off having Google help you find the links again.
