when do i throw out my casing?

Hey, I was just wondering when to throw out my casing. It's on it's second flush and it's not contaminated but, i hear it loses it's potency after a couple flushes. So when does a casing lose its magic touch? And how can you tell if it's contaminated? Mold? Cobweb?

It looses it's magic when you eat it and confirm it's weaker than the previous flush, if you want to throw it out, don't do it, give it to me.
You know it's contaminated using your eyes and/or your nose and also your brain.
