Is it possible????

Hi!

As i wrote in another threat I harvested some "atlantis" sclerotia. The Problem is that I sliced the sclerotia into pieces and put them in Alcohol.
So the mycelia on the agarplate dried out and now i lost the specie. Is there a possibility to revive the sclerotia by cutting them into smaller pieces and put them on Agar???

The sclerotiadiscs are about 3-5mm thick

I mean the dont look really "revivable"  :frown:

I would try and rehydrate them in sterile water and then replate some on agar. You never know!

you have two chances at reanimation. You should try reviving the dried agar mycelia on new agar. Similarly, you may be able to clone those "pickled" sclerotia, but this seems less likely b/c of the alky.

I would try reanimating the dry mycelia, if you still have it.
