1st flush just finished
    #3803374 - 02/19/05 03:32 PM (12 years, 2 months ago)

Hey, this is my 1st grow and I believe that my 1st flush is done. there are like 3 or 4 more shrooms about to be picked, and then a bunch of tiny ones all over that dont look like they're growing. So are they ready for the next flush? How do I initiate it?

Pick all the muchrooms...dunk the cake for 12 to 24 hours.
Then put it back in the fruiting chamber.

thanks, so I take the casing out of the tin and take off the casing layer, let soak in water and then put back and re-case? or do I not need to take off the casing layer?

you definitely dunk casings. submerge the whole thing(dont scrap anything off) for 12 hours then put it back in its container and back to the fruiting chamber. Patch holes with new material and only put a very thin layer of casing material if your harvest really tore up the previous one.

Loving the help, mucho thanks. While this thread is somewhat alive, my other casing is looking real shitty, I thought it had mold so I stopped watering it for a few days and then i looked again and it wasnt mold, but now its not growing at all. I think I have spider-web, i see white stuff clinging to the top of the casing, but just this morning i started to see some pins, is it possible to save or whats the deal?

give it a bath in some peroxide water(like 5% h202) and mist with the same ratio when you mist.
