I just thought I would share some hunting pics in I took last summer.

These are some of the weirdest shrooms I've ever seen, I have no clue what they are and I have never seen them before. The stems had a foam like texture, caps were slimey, they were hollow and very fragile, looks almost like they were hatching from eggs in the ground.

yeah nice shots
the top 2 are psathyrellas and the 7th is a shaggy mane (coprinus comatus), if you didn't know. those last ones are dog stinkhorns (mutinus caninus), not sure about the others.

3, 4, and 6 could be Agaricus augustus or Stropharia kauffmanii, and #5 appears to be Entoloma abortivum.
Nice photos

I just tried to pick photo #7, and cook it up with eggs....oh what a wonderful mushroom it is.
*sigh* very hard to get too. Beautiful photos.

pics 1&2: psathyrella gracilis? 3&4 look like no agaricus augustus ive ever found, and ive found quite a few. pic 5 is a very dangerous alien creature, your lucky it didnt try to rip out your vocal chords to feed them to the millions of nursing babies it has stored in it gelatinous cap.
