I didn't want to be too straight-forward before, but the whole Ps. cyanescens thing was pretty-much nil. A mycologist found specimens of Ps. cyanescens is KY. The likelihood of anyone else coming across them(including other mycologists) is almost impossible.
Please read more on the mushroom both here and at Mushroom John's web-site.
You'll understand what I mean.
I wish they were more common than they are, but it just isn't so.
Maybe search for Gymnopilus as well as Panaeolus species. They should be somewhat common in KY. Also, Ps. caerulipes could pop its head up in your area. They are quite potent, also.
Stay cool, alex and find some magic shrooms, man!-Levi7.
