is it too late to innoculate cow pies?

is it too late to innoculate some cow patties outside? I just got some syringes and I'm planning on moving to Germany in October so it would be a waste for me to grow them indoors. I would happy to get just one dose out of it because I got 6 syringes for $35 and I don't know anyone with mushrooms anyways. I plan on giving some of the syringes to a friend who will hook me up with some shrooms when I come home to visit.
