First timer- wondering if I've got too many pin heads on this cake?
Also, the second pic is of a weird shroom that grew all by it self, but it's color is different on the stem- just a mutant?

the strain is P. cubenis, supposedly from South Africa. I got the spores at Peruvian Journey's web site.

will having too many pin heads cause a casing/cake to abhort most pins, should the casing be picked of some pins to allow nutrients to focus on just only some pin heads?
just wondering, i've never picked any pin heads off when they initially come up, just "prune" off the abhorts.

i have went through them before in the past and was not satisfied. I got EQ syringes from them (2)$36.00 and half of the innoculation spots didn't produce growth.
I had to wait three weeks for them
but other than that, they do have some relaxing music to listen to while on their sire

Yes. Only the few developed that you see on the picture. Then I dumped the casing.

50/50+ casing, app 1cm.

Nothing really, sit and wait, wait a long time. This was a shitty strain, isolated from a mushroom that grew on a pinecone that I actually inoculated with P.azurescens spores.
