Spore printing cleanly

AFOAF is getting close to mature fruits and wants to spore print a couple mushrooms off of his first flush. I told him to make sure to cook the index card in the over for a while. The tempurature I told him and the time I said to cook at it for was what was mentioned in a tek I read but he belives that this will burn the index card. What do you suggest?

My suggestion is way off base for most people because of the contam problems. But I have never had contams using this approach.
Make sure your area is clean, spray disinfectant, wear rubber gloves.
Cut the cap off with a clean blade, use alcohol to clean the blade.
Toss it in a zip loc baggie with spore side down, seal the bag.
Wait a day or so, even 8 hrs will do it.
Open bag and dump cap into your dessicant chamber.
Reseal baggie and toss in fridge.
When you want to make syringes just poke a hole in the bag and inject your sterile water. I usually do
5-7 syringes per cap. Inject 5-7 syringes, mix up the water, draw into syringes and viola.

If you want it on a card, just make sure it is clean. Wipe it with alcohol and let it dry will be fine. Fold card onto itself and seal edges with tape.

What temperature? You can cook paper at 400 degrees without burning it.

451 degrees F is the temp at which paper burns . . . didn't you guys ever read Fahrenheit 451? It's a good book but yeah 451 degrees and the paper will burn.
