do you reset the light back to 12/12 whilst the other casings/cakes have been under 6/18 for a couple days?

It doesn't matter. Half a millisecond of light per day has been shown to be all that is necessary in cubensis to trigger primordia formation*. In your case, it does not matter 12/12 or whatever/whatever. Cubensis is not really a mushroom that requires light for proper development, just pin formation. They will grow with 24 or 0 hours of light per day once pins are set...
