what's up?

i am currently casing straight grain with just verm...i am using hawaiian (sp?) spores...

anyhow, the casings started pinning about 4 days ago.....pins were everywhere....but it's like everything just stop growing...the pins haven't developed..what's going on??

i've grown several other types of spores with no problems and i haven't changed any growing parameters..so i'm kind of lost.

if there was a lack of water in your substrate it could have cut short the cytoplasmic reticulum. if you were useing straight grain it might not have held the water in as well if you had mixed it with vermiculite. it could be a number of things. just eat the aborts then brain storm your own conclusion. maybe if you eat them theyll tell you what went wrong
