innoculating with 10 CC syringe

According to the MMGG, I should innoculate 1/4 CC into each hole in every 1/2 pint canning jar. How is it possible to inject that little amount with a 10CC syringe thats filled to probably more like 11 CC's???

What do you mean how is that possible?

It doesn't have to be exact. A tiny push on the syringe will put 1/4 cc into the hole... Just do your first jar, and see how much spore-water you used to do all 4 holes. The syringe should now have 1cc less than it did before innoculating the jar. 11cc's instead of 10 is good; you can innoculate more jars.

Unless you feel the need to innoculate 12 jars, just do the 1 cc in each jar and see how many you can get with the 10cc. Many people will load up ther syringe if it is only 10cc so it may work out to fill all 12 jars. If you want to you can use a little less than 1 cc in each jar. (by a little less i mean like between 3/4 and 1cc, if y oudo 3/4 cc in each jar you will have 1 cc left over so it's up to you)
