thats a big negative on cyans :frown: Its getting pretty late for cyans depending on where you are at

okay, they might still be around. Check the board this weekend. ITs getting real late but this rain is helping plus it looks like its dumping down there. Golden gate park always has them this time of year but all the filthy hippies are down there picking them and shitting everywhere in the park.

I don't think you're gonna get confirmation. The mushroom in the pic is no cyan. One of the reasons why i think so is because the stem looks totally different from cyan stems.

That is defiantly not anything worth considering eating. There is a good chance that it is either poisonous or of unknown edibility. Kind of reminds me of a Cortinarius species that I find growing around here but you didn't even give us any info so that is a wild guess.

Cortinarius is the first genus that came to my mind also. But a can offer no 'proof' for that guess either.

around us, i see SOoo many mushrooms, even growing on woodchips, but no cyans.
